mkay, it’s not like a really big ceremony or anything. it’s them, and all their close friends, and their parents and such. anyway, oikawa is wearing a really pretty white tuxedo with those hints of tiffany blue and iwaizumi is wearing a black tuxedo with the same hints or whatever, and they hold hands and kiss when they’re supposed to (and iwa totally cries, he just refuses to admit it [oikawa also cries, but the entire time and he’s not the prettiest crier, but it’s still charming]).
anyway, their cake is made out of like 3 different layers both vanilla and chocolate and iwaizumi unfairly pushes his piece in oikawa’s face and gets it everywhere and half of the crowd is afraid oikawa is going to kill him for getting cake in his hair, except oikawa starts laughing because then iwaizumi tries to eat it off his face and instead of smushing his cake into iwa’s face, oikawa just eats it because he’s hungry and everyone laughs then okay.
so then it’s like time to talk about the letters they wrote for each other, and their friends and such —— and iwaizumi’s is really plain but it’s still super romantic and sweet because he usually confesses his feeligs with headbutts and grunts, but he talks about what fun it’s been dating his best friend and how he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with him, and he talks about when he really realized he was in love with oikawa (which was a night on their second date they went stargazing, and oikawa got cold but refused to admit it so he had snot dripping down his chin [oikawa cries because that’s embarrassing]. anyway, and then oikawa reads his and cries the entire time talking about how he’s always loved his iwa-chan, only he loved him sooner when hajime decided to help him practice playing volleyball, and that when oikawa scraped his knee, iwaizumi carried him all the way home.
